Meet the Staff
Passionate Dentist in Salisbury, NC
Stacye J. Harborth, DDS
Our office managers will greet you upon arrival, assist with appointments and confusing insurances, and facilitate any future treatments with our office and specialists. We work to provide you with the best dental care even if it means a referral to provide you with the gold standard of care. Our golden rule is to treat others as we would recommend for ourselves and family. Our patients are our family and we look forward to continued and new relationships!
Our caring dental hygienists’ focus is to provide you with the information you need to prevent oral diseases and preserve your dentition and your health. Dental hygiene plays an integral part to overall oral health and prevention. Each patient is thoroughly assessed before treatment to determine how they may be best helped moving forward. If a patient has severe gum disease a referral to a gum specialist would be warranted to assure stability of the hard and soft tissues. Gum disease is a chronic disease that does not cause pain. If you have bleeding when you brush you may have reversible or irreversible damage. After the hygienists initial assessment, she may advise you on what would be in your best interest.

According to your presentation, you may need a regular cleaning or a deep cleaning which may take 2 visits. Also, some patients need cleanings every 3, 4 or 6 months depending on the health of your gums. When your gums are stable without much buildup a 6 month visit is recommended. If you have poor home care or build up a lot even with good home care, a 3 or 4 month recall would be recommended. We team up with the patient to educate and advise so that you may have the best outcome!
The dental assistants should be renamed as patient assistants. They are there to make sure you are comfortable throughout all procedures. Their main focus is to make the procedure efficient and pleasant so you will have a great experience. Our dental assistant are very kind, gentle and thorough.
Michelle Lagle
– Dental Assistant II
I have worked in the medical field for 34 years. After graduating from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College in 1989, I went to work for tea. Wayne Wilson as a Dental Assistant II. When he retired and Dr. Harborth bought his practice I continue to work for her. She was such a blessing to this practice. You will find me at the front desk checking in and out patients doing treatment plans, verifying dental insurance, and making appointments. I may be assisting Dr. Harborth with treatments at times. I enjoy being in the dental field and this office. I have watched a lot of our patients grow up and bring their families here. We are like one big happy family. I am here to help our patients with anything I can. In my spare time, I enjoy camping with my family and friends, reading books and watching movies at home. I am married and have two children that are grown now. I love to spend as much time as I can with them.

Sherry Strickland
– Registered Dental Hygienist

I graduated from Burns High School and GTCC with an associates degree in Dental Hygiene. I recently completed the North Carolina certification to administer anesthesia.
I am married and have four daughters and two grandsons. I attend Charity Baptist Church in Kannapolis, NC. My hobbies are traveling/cruising to anywhere with clear water and white sand. When I'm not traveling, I enjoy spending time on the lake and with my family.
My goals as a hygienist is to make my patients understand the importance of good oral hygiene and how your oral health effects the rest of your body. I strive to make every appointment for my patients to be stress free and relaxing.
Cassidy Sears
– Registered Dental Hygienist
I am a Registered Dental Hygienist here in the state of North Carolina. I graduated in 2023 from Guilford Technical Community College with an associate degree in Applied Science Dental Hygiene. My top priority as a dental healthcare professional is to provide the best care to my patients. I do this by staying up to date on all the latest technology, evidenced based research, and continuing my education. It is important to me that I educate my patients on the importance of their oral health and how to obtain this within their 6-month cleanings. I work efficiently and effectively for every single patient.
I have lived in Rowan County my entire life. I attend The Lake Community Church near High Rock Lake. I spend my free time with my Aussiedoodle, Mavis, and my family. We spend our time chatting on the patio, taking boat rides, and anything else that allows us to be together.
The reason I love being a part of Dr. Harborth's team is because of the way it feels. It feels just like family and family means everything to me.

Carmen Diaz
I graduated from West Rowan High School. I have worked in the dental field since 2007. I have been married for 19 years and have two children. What I enjoy most about my job is to see the smile on peoples faces after her dental restoration and the satisfaction of knowing I was part of making their dental experience more comfortable. I am also a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
